Sara Mae

Sara Mae is a genderqueer writer raised on the Chesapeake Bay and currently living in Philadelphia. They are a 2023 Big Ears Music Festival Artist Scholar and a 2022 Tin House Summer Workshops alum. Their work appears in FENCE, Waxwing, The Offing, and elsewhere. Their first chapbook is Priestess of Tankinis (Game Over Books, 2018). They received their MFA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. They make music under their project The Noisy.
