Christopher Merrill’s new books include Self-Portrait with Dogwood, a nonfiction work forthcoming from Trinity University Press in 2017; a co-translation (with Won-Chung Kim) of the Korean poet Chanho Song’s The Night of the Cat’s Return (Autumn Hill Books, 2016); and, with Marvin Bell, After the Fact: Scripts & Postscripts (White Pine Press, 2016). Merrill directs the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa.
