William Pei Shih

William Pei Shih’s stories have been published or are forthcoming in The Best American Short Stories, Virginia Quarterly Review, The Boston Review, McSweeney’s, The Southern Review, The Michigan Quarterly Review, Joyland Magazine, and elsewhere. He has been awarded scholarships and fellowships for the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, the Napa Valley Writers’ Conference, and the Ragdale Foundation, among others. A graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, he lives in New York City.
