Georgia Poetry Circuit Reading: Kim Addonizio

Our final 2017 Georgia Poetry Circuit reader is Bay Area poet Kim Addonizio. Known for its gritty, street-wise narrators and a wicked sense of wit, Addonzio’s poetry has received significant recognition and numerous awards, including fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts, and the John Ciardi Lifetime Achievement Award. Her collection Tell Me (2000) was nominated for the National Book Award. In addition to poetry, Addonizio has published fiction, notably the novels Little Beauties (2005) and My Dreams Out in the Street (2007).
