O Paradise

William Trowbridge’s latest collection, Put This On, Please: New and Selected Poems, was published in March 2013 by Red Hen Press. His other collections include Ship of Fool (Red Hen, 2011), and The Complete Book of Kong (Southeast Missouri State University Press, 2003). His poems have appeared in more than thirty-five anthologies and textbooks, as well as on The Writer’s Almanac and in such periodicals as Poetry and the Gettysburg Review. Currently poet laureate of Missouri, Trowbridge lives in the Kansas City area and teaches in the University of Nebraska low-residency MFA in writing program.

Jim Peterson is the author of five poetry collections, three chapbooks, and a novel; his newest collection, Original Face, was released by Gunpowder Press in October 2015. Peterson’s poems have appeared widely in such journals as Poetry, Shenandoah, Poetry Northwest, Prairie Schooner, South Dakota Review, and Cave Wall. He lives with his charismatic corgi, Mama Kilya, in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Linda Pastan’s fourteenth book of poems, Insomnia, will be published by W. W. Norton in the fall of 2015. Recent poems have appeared in the Paris Review, the Atlantic Monthly, the New Yorker, and the Gettysburg Review. Her books have twice been finalists for the National Book Award, and in 2003 she won the Ruth Lily Prize for lifetime achievement. She was poet laureate of Maryland from 1991 to 1995.
