Al Maginnes’ most recent poetry collection, Inventing Constellations, was published in October 2012 by Cherry Grove Collections and is reviewed in this issue (see page 366). New poems appear or are forthcoming in American Literary Review, Southern Humanities Review, Sugar House Review, Border Crossings, Crab Creek Review, and several others. Maginnes lives in Raleigh, NC, and teaches at Wake Technical Community College.

Fleda Brown’s The Woods Are On Fire: New & Selected Poems will be out from the University of Nebraska Press in 2017. A former poet laureate of Delaware, she lives in Traverse City, Michigan, and is on the faculty of the Rainier Writing Workshop, a low-residency MFA program in Tacoma, Washington. 

R. T. Smith is writer-in-residence at Washington and Lee University, where he edits Shenandoah. The latest of his many books are Outlaw Style: Poems (University of Arkansas Press, 2007) and a collection of stories, The Calaboose Epistles (Iris Press, 2009). His work has been reprinted in such notable anthologies as Best American Poetry, Best American Short Stories, and the Pushcart Prize.

David Baker’s new book of poems, Whale Fall, will be published in July 2022 by W. W. Norton. Other poems have appeared lately in American Poetry Review, the New York Times, The New Yorker, Poetry, and others. He lives in Granville, Ohio.
