Renée Hayek

Renée Hayek is a Lebanese novelist who studied philosophy before becoming a journalist, literary translator, teacher, and writer. She is the author of two short-story collections and eleven novels. Three of these novels have been longlisted for the International Prize for Arabic Fiction (The Year of the Radio in 2017, A Short Life in 2011, and Prayer for the Family in 2009, from Dar al-Tanweer, Lebanon).
