Parul Kaushik is a practicing physician who grew up in India. Currently, she lives in Dallas and hosts a radio show while working on her PhD in creative writing at the University of North Texas. She holds an MFA in fiction from Pacific University, and her work is forthcoming in The Masters Review and elsewhere. She is working on a collection about places and traditions wrapped in Indian mysticism.
