Matthew Vollmer is the author of a book-length essay, All of Us Together in the End (Hub City Press, 2023); three collections of essays: This World Is Not Your Home: Essays, Stories, & Reports (EastOver Press, 2022), Permanent Exhibit (BOA, 2018), and Inscriptions for Headstones (Outpost19, 2012); and two collections of stories: Gateway to Paradise (Persea Books, 2015) and Future Missionaries of America (Salt Publishing, 2010). He directs the MFA Program at Virginia Tech.
