The American Print (Spring 2003)

Carol Mickett’s career has encompassed not only collaborative work with Robert Stackhouse but also success as a freelance producer, director, and writer. She has won numerous grants, and her writing has appeared in Prairie Schooner, New Letters, and elsewhere. Mickett has a PhD in philosophy from the University of Minnesota.

Robert Stackhouse, who collaborated with Carol Mickett on The American Print in this issue, is best known for his large-scale architectural sculpture and paintings. His works are in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the National Gallery of Australia, the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, the Art Institute of Chicago, and many others. Professor emeritus at the Corcoran School of Art, Stackhouse has been the recipient of three NEA grants.
