Kevin Brockmeier’s eighth book, A Few Seconds of Radiant Filmstrip: A Memoir of Seventh Grade, is forthcoming in April 2014 from Pantheon. Recipient of three O. Henry Awards, a PEN USA Award, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and an NEA grant, he was recently named one of Granta magazine’s Best Young American Novelists.
